The teachers bring a wealth of experience, expertise and professional education to the faculty at large. Our teachers work collaboratively on grade level team to ensure consistency and best practice and the staff, as a whole, works vertically, to ensure consistency, logic and appropriate expectations from one grade to the next. All teachers work closely with the Specialists in Music, Art, Computers, Library, Spanish and Physical Education to make meaningful connections between the classroom and the specialty areas. Our teachers understand that every person learns differently. Every lesson, activity and project is designed to incorporate differentiated instruction, with a strong emphasis on teaching to the multiple intelligences. At the same time, our teachers are committed to creating a learning environment that is both structured and traditional, but also flexible. The result? A wonderful balance for learning.
