| Pastoral Council The Pastoral Council is an advisory body to the Pastor for Parish planning, vision and direction. Members of the Pastoral Council serve on a volunteer basis by invitation of the Pastor. For more information, please contact the Rectory at 781-444-0245. Finance Council The Finance Council ensures sound fiscal management for the Parish. It is the chief advisory body to the Pastor on fiscal matters. It is the Finance Council's responsibility to develop the annual budget, monitor its execution throughout the year and advise the Pastor, the Parish Administrator, and the Pastoral Council on all matters pertaining to finance. The Finance Council meets monthly to review balance sheets, income/expense statements and cash flow reports. The Finance Council also oversees the school budget, develops annual reports for both the Archdiocese and the Parish, monitors salary administration for Parish employees and ensures that proper accounting procedures are followed in all money matters. Church law (Canon 537) requires each Parish to have a Finance Council to serve in an overall advisory leadership of the Parish. Buildings and Maintenance Committee The Buildings and Maintenance Committee is a volunteer group of Parishioners who advise the Pastor on the upkeep and maintenance of Parish buildings and grounds, develop maintenance and construction budgets and schedules, and oversee construction and maintenance work. Members of the Committee represent a variety of trades, such as plumbing, electrical engineering and construction. They meet monthly and serve on a volunteer basis by invitation of the Pastor. Technology Council The Technology Council leverages the expertise of professionals in our Parish and Schools so that informed and educated decisions can be made concerning technology. The Technology Council maintains the 10-year Technology Plan for the Parish and Schools which includes maintenance of current technologies, equipment replacement schedules, and plans for purchasing new technologies, including equipment and software. The Council also assists in budgetary matters by providing detailed information about each technology need to the Pastor, Principals and Parish Finance Council. Lastly the Council oversees various Task Forces that are set up for specific projects or tasks, such as creating and maintaining this web site! Members are appointed by the Pastor and School Principals.
