"Tech Week" Schedule

NO ABSENCES FOR ANY REASON BUT ILLNESS. 

Monday, March 31:    10:00am-12:30pm - Leads only plus prompter

·         Goal:  sit-down talk-thru entire show

·         Walk-thru rough scenes

      [12:30-2:00pm:  install backdrop & tree lights]

                                    2:30pm-  5:30pm - Full Cast & Tech (doors open 2:00pm)

·         Goal:  Run entire show in 2.5 hours.

·         Focus on dialogue, props, chorus entrances/exits

Tuesday, April 1:         2:45-5:30pm - Full Cast & Tech

·         Goal:  This is our only rehearsal with full pit band

·         We will run every song 2-3 times.

·         Focus on cleaning up lyrics, dancing, sound system.

·         Start working on lighting re:  songs.

·         We will run all of Act Two, Scene 5.

Wednesday, April 2:   2:45-5:30pm - Full Cast & Tech - DRESS REHEARSAL

·         Goal:  Run entire show in 2 hours.

·         Focus on lighting, sound, costume changes.

Thursday, April 3:       2:45-5:30pm - Full Cast & Tech - DRESS REHEARSAL

·         Goal:  Run entire show in 1.5 hours.

Friday, April 4:          Cast arrives at 6:00pm in costume.

                                    Bring your own make-up!

                                    Show begins at 7:30pm; doors open at 7:00pm.

Saturday, April 5:      Cast arrives at 6:00pm in costume.

                                    Bring your own make-up!

                                    Show begins at 7:30pm; doors open at 7:00pm.

                                    After clean-up - Cast Party in MHMS Dining Room

Regarding costumes, make-up, and hair:

-        Students should arrive in their Act One, Scene 1 costumes.

-        Hair styles must be 1950s!

         Teen Queens+ Muffin/Ann/Jane = bouffant hairdos

         All other girls= high up pony tails, or headbands

         Boys hair must be greased back!  (use hair gel)

-        Make-up:  Base, blush, mascara, dark lipstick.

         (Pale pink lipstick does not work on stage!)

         Boys must also wear make-up or they will look washed out on stage.

         Rouge and lipstick are required.

         For sanitary reasons, it is best for you to provide your own makeup     

        and hair supplies, stored in baggies CLEARLY marked with your name.
