Please see below for our reopening plan for September. Our plan is to welcome students back for in-person learning. It is important to note, the COVID-19 pandemic remains unpredictable and we know there is the potential that school buildings may close again if a significant rise in cases were to occur in Massachusetts. If this happens, Saint Joseph School will launch a robust remote learning program for all students.
All of our Kindergarten - Grade 8 classrooms will now have technology to "live stream" classes to students at home. This enables us to deliver the same high quality Saint Joseph School education and curriculum to students - whether they choose to be in-person or remote. The new video capabilities, paired with Apple TVs in classrooms and Zoom, allow students at home to see their teachers and classmates, and the classroom will see them at home. This means our Saint Joseph School community will remain together even if we are physically apart. Students will be able to participate, engage, and learn together, which is so important for our school.
This investment in our school allow students to continue to learn if families elect remote learning for personal or medical reasons, as well as for any students who need to stay home because they are not feeling well, have been exposed to COVID-19, or are quarantining for any reason.
