Saint Joseph Parish Schools are well served by a strong partnership between parents, principals, and teachers, evidenced by a robust volunteer program and frequent opportunities to connect on school related issues.
Your Parent School Association (PSA) fosters this partnership by:
- Managing our volunteer programs
- Enhancing school-home communication
- Developing parent enrichment programs
All school parents/guardians are automatically members of the PSA. There is no need to sign up and we do not solicit dues.
We welcome your active involvement in our volunteer program. Your participation is the key to our success. It takes a small army to offer our children all the "extras" that parent volunteers are responsible for- from pizza on Fridays to Trunk or Treat to the End of the Year Party! 2018-2019 MHMS Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteer for MHMS events and ongoing projects that occur throughout the school year. In most cases help is needed both in planning the event ahead of time, and staffing the day of the event.

The Hospitality Committee is responsible for coordinating refreshments for after the first school Mass Parent Coffee of the school year, principal/parent coffees, and admissions events.
MHMS Grade Parents coordinate communications between MHMS PSA Liaisons and classroom parents for each grade. Communications topics include PSA events and volunteer needs.
8th GRADE GRADUATION
Committee of 6th and 7th grade parents to organize the events surrounding the 8th Grade Graduation including Baccalaureate Mass, Student & Staff Luncheon, and Graduation Ceremony. All events take place in June, and preparations are made throughout the school year.
