First grade is an exciting year filled with a great deal of exploration and learning! Together, we will embark on a journey filled with excitement, challenges, and many learning opportunities. One reason that I love first grade so much is because my students will develop and grow a lot over the course of just one year. It is wonderful to watch them as they expand their knowledge and learn new things! From learning to read and write, to growing as young disciples of God, to discovering more about the world around us, first graders do it all, and I love sharing in that process!

Mystery Reader will be on Fridays from 2:00-2:30 p.m. through a sign up link, shared with you by our room parents via email. You can come in and read a selection of seasonal books of your choosing to the class. Following the story there can be a class discussion, small craft, or interactive writing activity, if you wish. This is a great way to get involved and the children will love the surprise guests.

Aside from this, please feel free to come in on your child's birthday to read a story!

Please let me know in advance so we can plan a time.

Thank you!
