Happy Spring! It is hard to believe how quickly the school year has flown by. The children have been reading and writing their hearts out! As we begin to wrap up this school year, I look back in awe seeing how much my 1B students have grown in mind, body, and spirit. It is an amazing thing, and I am so honored to have shared in one small part of their educational journey!
First grade is an exciting year filled with a great deal of exploration and learning! Together, we will embark on a journey filled with excitement, challenges, and many learning opportunities. One reason that I love first grade so much is because my students will develop and grow a lot over the course of just one year. It is wonderful to watch them as they expand their knowledge and learn new things! From learning to read and write, to growing as young disciples of God, to discovering more about the world around us, first graders do it all, and I love sharing in that process!

Mystery Reader will be on select Fridays from 2:00-2:30 p.m. through a sign up link, shared with you by our room parents via email. You can come in and read a seasonal book of your choosing to the class. Following the story we can have a class discussion, small craft, or interactive writing activity. This is a great way to get involved and the children will love the surprise guests.
Aside from this, please feel free to come in on your child's birthday to read a story!
Please let me know in advance so we can plan a time.
