A note from the teacher:

Happy New Year SJES Families. I am excited for the new 2020 year of learning ahead of us.

It is truly a year full of wonder, growth, friendships, and imagination. Each year I fall more in love with teaching, and that is thanks to your children who are full of laughter and love. Thank you for all that you do to allow your children to blossom into their unique personalities. I can't wait to learn more about what makes them shine!

Mystery Reader will be on select Fridays at 2:00 p.m. through the sign up link below. You can come in and read a seasonal book of your choosing to the class. Following the story we can have a class discussion, craft, or interactive writing activity. This is a great way to get involved, and the kids will love the surprise guests.

First Grade 1A Class

Welcome to First Grade!

1A is SNOW much fun!

Why did Miss Murphy choose Saint Joe's to teach at?

I chose Saint Joe's because of the community. The rapport among students and teachers is unlike any school your child will attend. It is a warm and welcoming atmosphere which makes going to work each day a pleasure. The teachers are passionate about their careers, and the small class sizes allow me to give my students the individualized attention they deserve. Above all, our faith embedded curriculum brings us together. Our rich classroom discussions, project-based learning, and interdisciplinary lessons allow our students to flourish to their fullest potential.
