Saint Joseph School

Growing in virtue, one month at a time

At Saint Joseph School, we remind students that we have to practice to get better, and the same is true of living out our faith. Virtues are good habits that lead us to Christ and help us become the people God created us to be. Each month, our whole school focuses on one virtue as part of our 2026–27 theme, Growing in Faith and Wisdom, practicing it each day until it becomes part of who we are.

Early Childhood School

Through prayer, Bible stories, songs and everyday moments of kindness.

Lower School

At a monthly assembly, students talk about what the virtue looks like in everyday life: at Mass, with friends and at home.

Upper School

At weekly Chapel, students reflect on Scripture and learn from a saint who modeled the virtue.

Virtue in Action

This year, each month's virtue is paired with a service opportunity. Our Student Council helps lead small but meaningful service projects, so students practice the virtue by serving others. See how our students serve →

Practicing at Home

When children hear the same message at home and at school, they learn that faith is something we practice and live each day. Each month, we share ideas for practicing the virtue together as a family.
