Tuition Assistance
What is Tuition Assistance?
Tuition Assistance at Saint Joseph School is an annual allocation of funding designed to help families access Catholic education when tuition rates become an obstacle to enrollment. The Tuition Assistance application is open to all families regardless of background, tenure, or financial position. Criteria for awarding scholarships is based on multiple factors and seeks to help students with the greatest need first.
Over the course of the last two years, the average award from Saint Joseph School was $2,000 with gifts ranging as low as $500 and as high as $6,000. Awards vary based on the needs of the family.
In the 2021-2022 school year, more than $45,000 was awarded in tuition assistance. Through support of our leadership and generous donors, more than $80,000 was awarded in the 2022-2023 School Year. We strongly encourage families to apply as additional funding becomes available each year.
How does the process work?
By completing an application for Tuition Assistance through FACTS, you will be asked to provide contextual information and official financial documentation. The FACTS system provides recommendations to the Tuition Assistance Committee to help guide the amount awarded.
