2025 Summer Camp at SJS

Saint Joseph School is delighted to present a five-week summer camp exclusively tailored for our youngest learners— incoming Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, and Grades 1-3 students! From Monday, June 16th to Friday, July 25th, our program, staffed by Saint Joe's teachers, promises an enriching and enjoyable experience for your child's summer break.

Operating Monday-Friday from 9:00am to 2:30pm, our Pre-K, Kindergarten, and Grades 1-3 summer program offers a perfect blend of engaging activities, ensuring a balance between learning and play. Recognizing the needs of working parents, we can extend the day with AM Care (from 8:00-9:00am) and PM Care (from 2:30-4:00pm).

With the expertise of our dedicated team of licensed Saint Joe's teachers, your child will benefit from an educational and supportive environment. Each week brings forth a new theme, guiding our campers through a variety of exciting activities both indoors and outdoors, fostering creativity, curiosity, and skill development.

2025 Dates & Rates

Our program will be offered in one-week sessions. A $100 deposit per session will be required at the time of registration. The deposit amount is applied toward the total tuition and is charged to your FACTS account.

Summer Camp hours are 9:00am-2:30pm

Extended Day: AM & PM Care
AM Care: 8:00am-9:00am: $50/week
PM Care: 2:30pm – 4:00pm: $150/week

Registration opens on 1/13/24 at 12:00pm noon ET for students entering Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, and Grades 1-3 at SJS for the '25-26 academic year.

Students who are entering Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, and Grades 1-3 for the '25-26 academic year, and are currently enrolled at SJS but not returning to SJS for the '25-26 academic year, can register for the St. Joe's Summer Camp on 1/27/25, space permitting.

When is the program held?

The program runs for five weeks during the summer months. Each session is one week long, running Monday-Friday from 9:00am – 2:30pm

Where is the program held?

The program is held at Saint Joseph School in Needham, specifically in the elementary building lower level.

What ages does your program serve?

The Summer Camp at SJS will accept students entering Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, and Grades 1-3 in September of 2025. All children must be enrolled at Saint Joseph School. Priority is given to students enrolled at SJS for the 2025-2026 academic year. All children must be potty-trained.

Is there a minimum number of sessions that a child must attend?

No, registration is weekly; but there are no partial week or daily sign-ups.

How are registrations processed and is there a waitlist?

All registrations are processed in the order in which they are received. All campers must be registered students of Saint Joseph School. Priority is given to students registered for the 2025-2026 academic year. Once sessions are at capacity, campers will be added to a waitlist.

Is financial assistance available?

No, financial assistance is not available to attend Summer Camp at SJS at this time.

What do I do if I need to cancel enrollment in the program?

Please email Mrs. Kim O'Brien at kobrien@sjs-needham.org. Any cancellations after March 3rd will forfeit the $100 deposit per session. Forfeited deposits can not be applied to any other enrolled sessions.

What do I need to do to register?

Registration opens on Monday, January 13, 2025 via our website.

Do the children have the opportunity to swim?

We currently do not offer swimming as part of our summer program.
