Saint Joseph School is pleased to offer a variety of competitive and non-competitive sports options. The main purpose of all our athletics is to foster good sportsmanship, teamwork, and physical activity.
CROSS-COUNTRY - FALL - Gr. 3-8
We want our students to gain a love of running and exercise. They had the opportunity to run distances ranging from 1 to 3 miles and compete in local competitions against other Catholic schools.
FIELD HOCKEY - FALL - Gr. 5-8
Students are eligible to participate and learn the skills, rules, and game experience of field hockey. Practices are held twice a week with several scrimmages against local middle school teams scheduled during the fall season.
BasketBall - Winter - Gr. 3-8
Saint Joseph School belongs to the South Shore Parochial School League. Practice begins following Thanksgiving break and runs through February break. Playoffs begin following February break. Parents are responsible for transportation to all games.
Ski Club - Winter - Gr. 5-8
Saint Joseph School offers a Ski Club for students in Grades 5-8. The club meets on Friday evenings in January and February, with a detailed calendar to follow. Bus transportation to and from the mountains is provided. Students can either rent equipment or bring their own.
VolleyBall - Spring - Gr. 5-8
Saint Joseph School offers a Volleyball program for students in Grades 5-8. The team competes against other Catholic schools during the spring season. Practices and games provide a fun and competitive environment for students to develop their skills.
